Our Mission
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is a facility and visitor attraction dedicated to showcasing and preserving Australia's incredible marine animals and the habitats in which they live.
At Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary we aim to breed, rescue and protect
the amazing creatures and habitats in our oceans. Through education
and hands-on action, we are at the forefront of marine conservation
here in Sydney.
We're aiming to continue our successful breeding programs, which
have previously succeeded with a range of sharks, rays, fish and
reptiles.
Taking an active role...
We're also involved locally with marine animal rescue, and work
to rehabilitate and ultimately release animals back to the wild
where possible. In this context it is also important to protect
local habitats and educate the public about their role. Through
education, we hope to teach people how they impact on marine
ecosystems with their behaviour both on land and at sea, and how
they can help us conserve the oceans.
We are passionate about protecting all aspects of our oceans, and
hope to share this passion and appreciation with all our
visitors.
