School excursions information for Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary - the northern beaches' leading school excursion venue.
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary offers students the opportunity to observe, learn about, and interact with a wide variety of Australia's marine life.
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is located at the end of a safe harbour beach, surrounded by a shady grassy picnic area. Only a short walk from Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is Fairlight Beach which offers an excellent inter-tidal rock platform displaying a wide variety of marine animals.
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is open from 10.00am to 5.30pm every day, and school excusions can be made any time during opening hours. It is recommended that you allow approximately one and a half hours at Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary.
There is no minimum group size, and we recommend groups no larger than 130 students. Payment is required on the day of the visit, by cash, school cheque or credit card. Students can not pay individually.
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary's Education Officer is required for any group of 35 of more students. This service costs an additional $100. For groups larger than 70 students, 2 Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary Education Officers are required. Only groups smaller than 35 students will be permitted to self-guide. If you have a special interest, we can tailor a program to meet your specific needs.
